Project 5 Task 1

There are many benefits of blogging for students.  As a first grade teacher, the largest benefit is that anyone, regardless of their grade-level, can blog.  Another benefit to blog is an outlet for students to express their opinions.  This leads to a third benefit of blogging for students which is for other students to participate in a group forum where their opinions and ideas can be shared.  As students interact with their peers, they can benefit from effective feedback they receive.  A final benefit for students blogging, is it provides a purpose for students' writing.
